Husqvarna 65, A65, A77 Starter Assembly, Early-Style,*USED* Sold AS-IS, No Returns.PLEASE READ ITEM DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES.
Here we have a USED O.E.M. Starter Assembly from a Husqvarna 65, A65 Chainsaw. Another Ebayer informed me this was for an A65, A77 from the late 1960’s to about 1972. Works Good, it has a New Starter Rope Installed. It is not cracked or broken, it does have some wear around starter rope hole(see picture #7) where rope has worn it over time. Does not seem to affect anything. PLEASE NOTE: Important- This is the Early-Style starter, I do NOT know if the early-style and later-style starters will interchange. They bolt up the same, but the Starter Pulley and Starter Pawls may be Different, I am NOT sure. The early-style starters have the mesh with the small round holes around the housing, like this one. The later-style starters do not have the mesh, and instead have louvers around the openings, integral with the housing. Please make sure you need the early-style starter before purchase, make sure your housing and pulley match this one. Does Not include any Mounting Hardware. Please see pictures.
